This honey has a distinctive flavour and is dark amber in colour. Dark honey contains 4 to 6 times more minerals such as manganese, potassium, sodium and iron. The benefits of eucalyptus honey to health have been proven in research. Besides being a natural remedy for respiratory problems, it is an antiseptic for having germicidal properties. Eucalyptus honey can be used in the treatment of wounds, minor cuts and minor burns.
